If you've been emboldened by the bridge run, there's another trot to put on your calendar: the inaugural Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation 5K (www.ifivek.com).
The run is scheduled for Thursday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. It will start and finish at the Charleston Maritime Center. It's $30 to participate, for those who have yet to register. Companies can enter a team and vie for the " bragging rights trophy."
"It's not only a spring race, but it's a networking event," said Digital Corridor chief Ernest Andrade.
Some of the funds will go to the foundation, which was set up by the city's Digital Corridor initiative to take a stake in budding companies. Proceeds will also fund a scholarship for a Burke High School student who wants to pursue a career in technology.
