Refund Policy

CDCF Membership & Services

Cancellation by CDCF

The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation (CDCF) reserves the right to refuse/cancel any individual's or organization's membership in the CDCF or to refuse/cancel other purchase of CDCF services such as job postings, advertisements, promotions, or featured listings if in our sole judgment it is deemed appropriate in order to preserve the quality, integrity and mission of the CDCF. The CDCF shall in no way be obligated to disclose the reason for such refusal/cancellation.

  • If CDCF refuses or cancels a new or renewing membership or other service purchases, registrants will be offered a full refund.
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of notice of cancellation.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. If payment was made by check, any refund shall be issued by check.

Cancellation by Participant

Membership and service cancellation requests received within 14 days of registration may be eligible to receive a full refund less a 5% or $50 service fee, whichever is lower.

  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
  • All applicable benefits and incentives received by participant must be cancelled/returned to the CDCF.
  • All refund requests must be made by the registered member contact or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the member and/or transaction number.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
  • These above policies apply to all CDCF memberships unless otherwise noted.

CDCF Events

Cancellation by CDCF

The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation (CDCF) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.

Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, CDCF has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

  • If CDCF cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of notice of cancellation.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. If payment was made by check, any refund shall be issued by check.

Cancellation by Participant

  • Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 30 calendar days before the event.
  • Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a 5% or $50 service fee, whichever is lower.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
  • Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
  • All refund requests must be made by the registered attendee or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
  • These above policies apply to all CDCF events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.

CDCF Goods and Products

  • All returns of goods and products purchased directly from the Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation online or in person require prior authorization.
  • Returns must be authorized by the CDCF within 30 days of the invoice or transaction date, and we will replace, substitute or repair, at our sole discretion, any CDCF product that is deemed defective.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • Products provided/sold by CDCF partners and affinity programs are subject to the return policy of the partner.
  • Products which are software or downloadable from any CDCF website or provided media (CD ROM, Memory Drives, etc.) are non-refundable.
