Number of iFive:K Registrants Approaches 200, Company Sponsored Teams Total 17

Charleston, SC - April 13, 2007 - The number of registrants for the Innovator's 5K Run/Walk/Shuffle (iFive:K) is approaching 200 including 16 company sponsored teams.

The iFive:K, Charleston's only evening race through historic downtown Charleston, SC, will take place on April 19th, 2007 at 6:30 PM starting at the Charleston Maritime Center. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers along with additional prizes to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Prizes and a 'bragging rights' trophy housed at the Digital Corridor will be awarded to those participating in the team competition.

"The number of registrants and company sponsored teams, demonstrates the demand for 'active' networking events," according to Ernest Andrade, Executive Director, Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation. "We consistently receive requests to host more events allowing professionals from Charleston's knowledge economy to interact and build business relationships."

The Charleston Digital Corridor will donate a portion of the proceeds raised to the Burke Scholarship Fund. This donation will be earmarked for a student seeking higher education in a technology related field.

The iFive:K is limited to 500 participants and is open to individual participants and teams of two, six & ten. A post-race networking celebration will immediately follow the race and will be held on the Harbor at the Charleston Maritime Center. Food and beverage will be provided to all race participants. The post-race celebration is open to race supporters for a $5 admission.
