National Retailer Implements Cloud Technology for Benefits

Charleston, S.C. -- May 15, 2012 -- Tuesday Morning has selected BENEFITFOCUS(r) HR InTouch to streamline its benefits management and employee communication. Tuesday Morning is a national retailer that specializes in selling closeout, upscale home furnishings, housewares and gifts items. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Tuesday Morning has approximately 9,000 employees in 852 stores across the United States.

Tuesday Morning sought a cost-effective, comprehensive online portal that could simplify benefits enrollment while exchanging employees' benefits selections with its insurance providers. Using Benefitfocus technology, Tuesday Morning can now easily communicate benefits information to employees, allow enrollment of all benefits in one place, access detailed reports and transmit data seamlessly.

Tuesday Morning was looking to increase visibility into its healthcare costs, so they will also use data analytics functionality provided by Benefit Informatics, a subsidiary of Benefitfocus. By accessing and analyzing its claims data, Tuesday Morning will better understand the real drivers of healthcare costs. All of Tuesday Morning's claims data from multiple carriers and payers will be integrated into one consolidated data warehouse, allowing benefit managers to access plan usage information in one location.

"We are excited to partner with Benefitfocus," said Patty Arnold, Benefits Coordinator for Tuesday Morning. "Their cloud-based technology will allow our team to strategically manage our healthcare costs and ensure our employees are knowledgeable in all our benefits offerings. We look forward to making the technology available to our employees nationwide."

With HR InTouch, Tuesday Morning's employees can log in to enroll and learn about all their benefits online, at any time. Education support tools, including plan comparison tools, videos and a personal shopping cart will help employees select the best benefits for their unique needs.

"Tuesday Morning provides a great work environment for their employees across the country so that they can, in turn, provide great service to their customers," said Shawn Jenkins, Benefitfocus President and CEO. "We are excited to be the benefits technology provider for Tuesday Morning, providing an innovative way for employees to manage all of their benefits in one place."

Tuesday Morning will be live on the Benefitfocus Platform by Summer 2012, with plans to roll out the online portal for employees during Open Enrollment in October. Additional employee wellness initiatives will be added to the Platform in 2013.
